FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Peabody's Cafe
(corner of S. Taylor & Mayfield)
Mona Scott of TV-3 will MC, Guest admission $5.00 (this allows volunteers to attend free). RSVP 391-3912 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The brochure Rape Resource is now available in large quantities from the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. The information in the brochure answers some commonly asked questions such as:
What is Rape?
How can I prevent it from happening to me? What should I do if it does happen to me
or to someone I know?
Experience has taught that if there is greater understanding of the crime of rape, it is casier for a victim and the people around her/him to adjust to the crisis s/he has experienced. Hopefully, knowledge of the reasons and motivations for rape will help build strengths and decrease the level of fear that exists among most women.
A grant from the Cleveland Foundation has made it possible for the Rape Crisis Center to offer Rape Resource free of charge to Cleveland schools, health centers and other non-profit organizations. Business and profit-making organizations can make the brochure available to their employees or members by purchasing them from CRCC according to the prices

WINTER WORKSHOPS
Anger: Buried anger is an unnecessary burden. Released anger enables us to re-experience warmth and pleasure. In a safe environment, we will work in practical ways to let our anger out and learn to use it as a tool,
2 Sundays, March 18 and 25, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and Wednesday, March 21, 7:30-10:00 p.m.
Sexual Identity: This workshop will provide a safe space, free from labels and categories, in which to explore and clarify sexual feelings toward other women. The purpose of the workshop is not to "determine" your sexual identity, nor is it assumed that any specific sexual identity is preferable. The process of structured activities and general discussion will allow participants to explore where they are now and where they want to go.
Saturday, February 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Women experiencing severe psychological/emotional stress should not participate in a group or workshop.
Feminist Forums: Monthly discussions of books, issues, ideas, and controversies of feminist concern. Forums will be held Fridays, February 9 and March
